We believe that the true quality of cosmetics doesn't start in a laboratory.

It begins in the soil, the landscape, and with the people who care for it.

That's why, when creating our products, we collaborate with local farms, herbalists, and raw material producers in the Czech Republic who share the same approach to nature: respect, long-term sustainability, and honest craftsmanship. Our goal is to integrate modern cosmetic formulation, traditional agriculture, and local raw materials into one natural system.

Regenerative cattle farming from the heart of Šumava

Our most important raw material, organic beef tallow, comes from nowhere else but the pristine nature of Šumava. No compromises, no exceptions. We source it exclusively from farmers with certified regenerative agriculture, who raise animals as nature intended from time immemorial.

 

Here, animals graze only on fresh grass from Šumava meadows their entire lives. They drink pure water from mountain springs and breathe air untouched by industrial pollution or intensive agriculture. No silage from monocultures, no supplementary feed mixes, no enclosed farming. Just grass, water, air, and time, just as cattle were raised for centuries before the agricultural industry confined them to factory farms.

This method of farming is not just kinder to animals; it is an active restoration of the landscape. Properly managed grazing in Šumava:

  • supports the biodiversity of grasses and herbs that would otherwise disappear from the landscape
  • improves soil structure and its ability to breathe
  • increases the soil's ability to retain water, which is crucial in times of drought
  • contributes to carbon sequestration directly into the landscape, instead of ending up in the atmosphere

Furthermore, the beef tallow we use is a by-product of the food industry. We thus do not support any overproduction; instead, we give meaningful use to a raw material that has already been created in the food system and would otherwise be discarded. It is a raw material that already carries the purity of its origin, and that is precisely what you will feel on your own skin.

Medicinal herbs from the Czech landscape

For our herbal macerates, we use organically grown herbs, often from smaller family farms. The herbs are cultivated from seed to harvest without synthetic pesticides and herbicides, with respect for the natural cycle of plants and soil. Thanks to this, they retain the full spectrum of active ingredients, which then transfer into our herbal macerates. Each plant thus carries not only its active ingredients but also the character of the Czech landscape where it grew.

Local production and short supply chain

We strive for most of our raw materials to come from the nearest possible surroundings. A shorter supply chain means:

  • lower carbon footprint from transport
  • better quality control
  • support for the local economy
  • transparent origin of raw materials

Thanks to this, we know exactly where our ingredients come from and how they were produced, from a specific meadow to the finished product in your bathroom.

Building a network of local partners

Our long-term goal is to create a network of small and medium-sized farmers, herbalists, and raw material producers who share a similar approach to nature. We want to connect:

  • local agriculture
  • traditional plant knowledge
  • modern cosmetic science

and together create products that make sense for both skin and landscape.
