For many of us, the New Year is a symbol of a new beginning. A time when we reevaluate our habits, slow down, and make more conscious choices – not only in what we eat or wear, but also in what we do for our bodies and skin .

At Bohemian Cosmetics, we believe that cosmetics should have a deeper meaning than just a quick effect. They should be functional, honest, and in harmony with the nature from which they are created.

Why we use local ingredients

Our products are made from local Czech ingredients that we know from their very origins. We cooperate with local farmers and herbalists because we believe that quality starts at the source .

Local ingredients:

  • have a shorter production route and a lower carbon footprint,

  • they are fresher,

  • they support the local landscape, crafts and economy.

Our creams are based on bio-identical lipids and herbal macerates. They are “alive” – they react with the skin, support its natural functions and do not disrupt its balance.

Why we minimize plastics and waste

The cosmetics industry is one of the largest producers of plastic waste. We decided to go a different route.

We minimize plastics:

  • in production,

  • in the package,

  • throughout the product life cycle.

We use packaging that does not emit microplastics and actively seek solutions to close the entire loop – from raw material to the end of the packaging’s life. Because we believe that beauty should not leave a mark where it should not .

PureCycle Beauty – the principle we work on

PureCycle is not just a name. It is a principle that we are gradually developing at Bohemian Cosmetics.

It means:

  • respect for the skin and its natural needs,

  • respect for raw materials and their origin,

  • respect for the planet and future generations.

We work to ensure that every product fits into a circular system – from ethical sourcing of raw materials, through production, to packaging and its return to nature.

What are we planning for the new year?

The year ahead will be crucial for Bohemian Cosmetics.
